Found all over in leaf litter, possibly on unearthed wood.
As seen last year, these were white to cream, though smaller and with reddish, burnt tips.

On Day 9, this cluster had turned grey at the top.
It is distinguished from C. cinerea by its spiky tips.

On Day 14 (03 November 2023), I unearthed some from a pile of rotting material.
