DATE FOUND:

Day 12 – 21 October 2023

Found on the underside of a large fallen branch, these light-ash-grey fungi grew in a group, sometimes clustered.

They had no discernible scent.

EDIT — 26-06-25

Phleogena faginea are supposed to smell like curry, hence their common name “Fenugreek Fungus”.

At the time, I remember thinking they just looked different from the P. faginea I had seen before.
