Lachnum virgineum

DATE FOUND:

Day 26 – 28 January 2024

These were tiny, white to buff on damp, rotted wood.

EDIT 20 April 2024

For some reason, I had identified these as the obscure Eupezizella roseogutatta, for which there is very little information online.

I have since realised these actually have a stalk, so are far more likely to be Lachnum virgineum (or similar, as many tiny cup fungi require microscopic examination to identify).
