These grew in scattered all around the path in open grass and on soil or in leaf litter, near hazel.
They were very variable in appearance:
Some had cream caps with relatively small cinnamon-buff caps, with larger, light brown stems.
The edges of the caps on some were striated slightly, or orange-brown.
Some had a striated edge.
Others were the more typical peach colour.
