On Day 10, I found these on the roots of a fallen tree by the side of the path.

They had spiky surfaces and varied from cream to buff in colour.

On Day 11, they had elongated growing oval-shaped fungi with spiky, yellowish brown surfaces.

One of them was larger and had a paler, more spherical fruitbody with a pseudostem.

On Day 14, they had grown larger, but many had their tops taken off by some creature.

On Day 15, I found more groups on the soil and further in.

These larger ones were darker and grew in clusters.

I continued to see these fungi throughout my survey.
