On leaf litter, this small specimen was bitten and shrivelled.
The ridged, light-brown volva, was visible as the fungus was pulled up out the ground when found.
The olivaceous-buff cap was covered in tiny greyish-brown scales and the flesh was pinkish-buff to brownish-red.
