Day 3 – 24 August 2023
Found on a mossy log, surrounded by nettle/ other vegetation, this was a dark group of sporangia.
They had curry-yellow peridia at the base of lighter yellow, candy-floss-like capillitia (threads making up the inside of the sporocyst or ‘head’ of the fruiting body).

I saw them again on Day 4 (26 August 2023), where they had demonstrated little change.
In this zoomed-out photo you can see them at the bottom right in a small group.

On Day 5 (03 September 2023), I found some pink sporangia nearby, which I later discovered where juvenile H. clavata.

I found their diminished forms on Day 7 (16 September 2023).
