Off a fallen trunk by a water channel

On Day 3 (08 October 2022):

It had red-orange-grey “cap”, at widest 150mm. It was very solid and hard and like an oyster mushroom, though it didn’t seem to have gills.

Day 4 – 08 October 2022 :

This Picipes badius from week two was now red, fading to grey, and had grown to 150mm across.

It was very solid and had no gills.

On Day 5, they had turned fully red.
