These fungi had a dark brown apex, ringed with a light brown colour, and a light grey-blue pleated cap.

The smaller pleats around the apexes were a yellow colour.

The stem is cream and quite thin and fragile.

When juvenile, the cap is a darker brown with darker pleats.
