Growing by the path in leaf litter.

This had a white cap with light brown scales. The thick white stem had around it an ephemeral, thin ring, and the gills were pink.

I found another group later on leaf litter, by yew, beech and oak.

These had light brown scales, denser around the apex, and a white cap; The stem was white and the annulus skirt like, and light-ish grey. The caps were thin with a brownish edge when mature.

Another grew near the base of an old tree.
